I'm relatively confident that with the changes made to bluez between OS2007 and OS2008 A2DP support is now included by default. AFAIK, all we need to do is uncomment the last two lines in /etc/bluetooth/audio.conf. Then to use A2DP all we should need to do is use any player capable of outputting to ALSA and select the "bluetooth" ALSA device. The problem I'm running into is that I can't seem to find any player for OS2008 that supports ALSA. MPlayer for OS2008 seems to not have the alsa audio out built in and mpg123 appears to be OSS only. Any thoughts?|
