It's the chinese keyboard afaik, not part of the CSSU.
Contacts application is closed source, it can't be fixed.
But it doesn't have anything to do with contacts application
The screenshot I posted where that vkeyboard was shown was when I will be typing on conversations app. Also tried using vkeyboard on xterm and the same vkb showed up. And I reflashed now reinstalled CSSU and got back the same vkb
And I dunno what causes it. Well only solution I can think of as of now is by installing fastsmsevo.
that's from the mcip package; not an official virtual keyboard by Nokia
thanks!!!!!!!!! Now I know what to remove to revert back to old vkb one thing that bothers me is how the heck did that plugin got installed on my phone when I am just installing cssu libxinerama and mplayer

@MAG re Adding new contacts in portrait mode.
Im not saying its a Bug in the original N900 SSU its a bug introduced with the Community SSU.
If someone would confirm that without the CSSU installed you can
In phone portriat mode highlight a number that is not a saved contact and click Add new contact. This should open the new contacts card in landscape with requiered fields to fill in such as Name,E-mail ect.
Is it possible to force portrait mode rotation for the onscreen keyboard only?
When i am browsing the web in portrait and select an textbox the screen rotates to show the keyboard, when force rotation is set the keyboard works fine in portrait but other applications get buggy. Thats why i would like a feature to enable force rotation for individual applications.

The contacts app was not changed in the CSSU, this bug is related to Nokia's coding.
That dialog can only be rotated if forced rotation is enabled, that method is unsupported (i.e don't raise bug reports about it) until some sort of whitelist is developed (contributions welcome here).
