    Community I need your help.
    I like to replace the original .avi i have on /usr/share/hildon-welcome/media If someone is kind enough could lead me the boot screen in this video

    Hi Friend,

    There is an existing thread for changing boot screens.

    Just save a copy of your desired video, download/install Bootscreen Manager (it's in Application Manager), and set it up from there.

    EDIT: There's a specific video format to be used (not sure if it should be .avi or something). In any case just download and install a video converting app.

    Try this thread leetut was offering to make custom text istead of meego along with several other videos to choose from ... i got some with my nickname on them, try and see if he's still making them

    .avi is the correct format, also he can use bootscreen manager from the repos

    I don't have any negatives thoughts on the boot screen manager. Replacing the .avi will do. Plus it saves more memory
