There is no audio no video as there are pluggins that are needed now for sound and video to work in a call with a friend.

everything on the n900 is always a half arsed job, ive never seen an app that is fully finished and working 100percent.
    My friend,
you have the right to dislike the device and express youself. But i may remind you that this application is from the extras-development repository and is not suported by nokia.
extras are solid working aplications that have minimal bugs that any sofware of anywhare have. Extras-devlopent is softwares that is not complete, you just have it to test on your risk.
If you want full suport from nokia and it's partness you should only use ovi store applications.
Thw worderfull thing from the n900 is that it's OS is linux so this is the why you can install amsn that was originaly compiled to a full x86 PC. there is so many ports and software ported to this linux dist and that why I use it and plan to keed using untill we have nice hardware to do it.
developer do their work own their own, nothing is paid. justo to help the comunity. And I'm thankfull for that.
    Thats it.

Today I've done the following steps to have success:

    1. Enable "extras" and "extras-devel" repositories in the applications manager.
    2. Open a terminal window and enter the following commands:

    exit
These steps are only necessary while tcltls package or aMSN dependency aren't corrected.

You may have 2 or more entries in application catalogs that point to the same repositories (with same URL).
