to any member having trouble refreshing your media on your beloved N900, i have created a shortcut special for you....
this shortcut can be launch at your menu or even your desktop....
this shortcut have the same method on resetting media tracker on x-term...only different is you don't need to use x-term...just press the icon & it will reset your media index....then your media player will refresh/re-indexing all media files you have....
how to put this on your phone???
you need to use filebox....
1.now download the attachment below.....
extract all the files to MyDocs or your MicroSD...
2.now open filebox then copy & paste
Refresh Media.desktop to
usr/share/applications/hildon....
3.after paste it then copy & paste the refresh.png icon to
usr/share/icon/hicolor/48x48/apps....
4.then exit filebox & reboot...after reboot you will see Refresh Media icon on you menu....jsut press the icon to reset/refresh your media....
