by resetting you mean rebooting or reflashing?

Maybe this is a good opportunity to find a bug?

In your case it probably isn't MyNokia, but the original poster said that he didn't recognise the number that was being texted.

I don't know if we understand eachother. In dbus.log which I've published, I've replaced each phone number with +48xxxxxxxxx.

change the msg center no. so that msg could not be delivered

The totally opposite thing used to happen to me.
IE: a friend sent me a single sms, then that same SMS got delivered to my phone every 30 minutes to 1 hour with the same date and time as the original SMS.
I recieved at least 15 of those.

It happened once more from a different sender but this time the SMS was delivered to my phone just 3-4 times.

Something similar happened with a SMS notification from my bank but the time stamp was correct so i can't exclude that there was a mess in my banks system and they've send me dozens of SMS.

In most cases it's operator's bug, not the phone. The same thing happened to me few monts with another phone model.
