i am in vienna, the place i am staying at has a chello cabe modem that won't play nice w/ my travel router. does any one here know how to make it work w/ a router? thanks!

johsua, w/o router i think it will be not possibe. Cello.AT checked your connection rights by MAC address. Best way to connect to Internet through Cello.AT is make CLONE of working MAC (should be supported by router), usually you have to make clone MAC of working PC. Then connect any PC's (Nokia also) to Router via WiFi or cable.

the owners said i needed to use the install cd, but of course the n800 nor the router have one... oh well. it's only until sunday... thanks though!

Installation CD does not help you. Owner should come to your plase with WORKING notebook. Then you can copy its MAC to your router. Also you can call to TechSupport of Cello, but you need the Customer Number (written in the contract). TechSupport will put your Router MAC in "permitted" list for connection. Installation CD does not contain any parameters for connection.

Thank you very much for your help. Unfortunately they could not give me a working MAC address. Now I'm home, so it doesn't matter anymore. I think my wife was rather happy about it actually! cheers.
