    May I ask what's new in this release?
    Is it worth the update?

    Changelogs are pretty useful

    Why wouldn't you update? It takes like a minute and a reboot, if you want to start using it immediately.
    Code:
    kernel-power (1:2.6.28-10power47) fremantle; urgency=low

      * enabled additional kernel modules (for usb host mode)
      * backported bq27x00_battery patch
      * some patches from kernel-power bugtracker
      * multiboot support in kernel-power-bootimg package

    I've noticed major speed increases in nearly everything, with this update.

    what i've noted is massive battery saving
    i was using stock kernel since a week ago and changing to v47 made a LOT of difference in battery consuming levels.

    Edit: I note the difference with v46 too (I used it before than stock kernel last week)
    PS: using stock cpu freq always

    I have been using CSSU and kernel-power without any problems for months.

    I dont know if its just me, but the phone feels more responsive since the update. The default maemo apps like calculator or settings defeneetly loads faster, I think rotating is less painful in phone app now, and OMP is faster to rearrange. THX Pali! (Youre from Hungary BTW?)
