I'm a happy customer as well, I haven't had any issues whatsoever with my N900 which is about 13 weeks old now.

The lack of navigation is not a problem for me, I have to carry 2 phones anyway......the N900 with a Mexico's sim card and my old N95-8G with a UK sim and the best thing of all, I don't have to carry around my laptop anymore while conducting business outside the office.

Both my N900's (one remains--a tragic accident, I don't talk about it much) have been really great. My N810w is also a dream. It's really the software platform and community that make it so worthwhile. I wish I had more hands and time.

Every day I am reading the Maemo forum – looking for news, programs, information and etc. and I just couldn’t believe how it is possible. There are so many problems with N900, so many issues, and so many negative feelings that (if I haven’t got n900 already in my hands) can compel me never to buy this tablet.
What I mean is reading these posts I am really astonished because I’ve never had such issues – how is it possible to happen? I’m not a power N900 user but I’ve already tested the most of the mentioned bad issues and I’m really impressed:
1. No unwanted reboots (uptime: 5 days, rebooted since the last firmware update)
2. No Wi-Fi issues
3. Bluetooth works perfect with my old BH-203 handset
4. The battery has recharged since 1 to 3 days - depends how often I play with the N900
5. The FM transmitter works fine (but I don’t like the quality of the sound)
6. No GPS issues
7. No Media player issues
8. No memory leaks – the behavior of my n900 is normal even I’ve installed so many applications on it
9. No scratches on it – even I’ve dropped it in the beginning
10. No camera/pictures quality issues
11. X-Terminal – I love it… and I have no related issues, Vim works perfect and other console related apps
12. No USB issues
13. No Sound or Mic related issues
14. No Infrared issues (Shutter works perfect)
15. Video calls (via gTalk) works perfect as well
16. No Skype and related programs issues
17. No network related issues – VNC works fine, SSH server/client works fine other similar apps works fine as well
I don’t see the sense to continue with this list.
I just want to ask you – am I the only one who don’t have such problems?
more issues are coming out day by day, if you dont experience such issues on your n900, i believe you are so lucky

Mine works great since early December 2009. I decided to give it to my wife since her phone was dead and so far no complaint from her except for a few bugs (Does not accept GSM code) that hopefully will be resolved with the next firmware update.

well thats awesome, maybe nokia is not kidding when they said that only a "limited" number of n900 has hardware or somewhat software issues.

I'll watch this over and over,

Had mine since december. No problems, no crashes, no failures. Everything works as expected.

Only issue is I had to reflash to global firmware because the UK firmware didn't get an update recently but all is well and this device replaces most functions of my laptop when I am away from the home.

we have two in the household and both have been fine since the start of january

it coming up for around 8 weeks now

both phones have been used daily and recieved lots of use as main phones over the weeks and i havent experienced any problems whatsoever with either of them

i might add that they are used hard and used ina physical job with no case and not treated with silk gloves like some users talk of and they are fine , no scratches , no creaks , no faults , touch wood , pretty solid handset in my eyes

your allways going to read of faulty handsets on the net but to be honest the n900 has not been hitting the headlines with faults like the n97

if you have a dodgy n900 just send it back for repair/replacement as it isnt normal and most work just as they should

really enjoying the n900 its a beast and a tough one at that
