Scratch that....I'm having a problem. I think it has something to do with the fact that I can not uncheck (Its checked by default) "Synchronize e-mail: leave unchecked."
any ideas?

You can uncheck emails. You need to setup mail for exchange from the settings menu though, not directly through emails.

Also, that "works" as has been discussed many times. But there are a lot of issues with it.

Being that this isn't working at all, has anyone had success syncing with anything else other than Google? I am, ultimately, looking for a way to get my calendars and contacts sync'd with my Mac and such.

My old Symbian phone syncs OK to google, so I then tried syncing that to the N900 by bluetooth. It had some trouble at first, with duplicates and times changed. Then it was working OK, until suddenly a number of my contacts are duplicated, and I'm seeing skype names split off as separate entries in the contacts list. Total bloody shambles.

The splitting off is a bit of a pain, but what I've been doing is Merging Contacts in the Contacts app on the N900. Just need to sync that with the rest of my address books, etc. *sigh*

I have an N900 and I was able to sync Google Calendar using these instructions.

Anybody knows if the Google Calendar and Contacts sync works better with the Maemo 5 PR 1.1 firmware from today (jan 14th) ??
Or do we still need to use a 3rd party service like NuevaSync ??
