Are you positive that sudo killall hildon-desktop will immediately show the changes made to the status bar applet panel?

I've killed the desktop several times but the status bar remains unaffected. The only way is to reboot the tablet which begins to pound the battery after awhile.

Is there any other way to do this?

Hey, it works for me. You can use load-applet to kill hildon-desktop too.

Yeah,i Know. But this one is a little bit different of Diablo 5, isn't?
But i know that now you're using your own theme, =D

no, it's not. I use the same what you can find in repo
The image you posted is a Demo of Telescope UI... I mean it was a first concept of Telescope
