All the client does is download the list from the server - changing the client version isn't going to magically make more channels appear. Either there's some issues on the server, or they're unable to provide access to all the channels now for some reason. I'd suggest enquiring on the SPB forum about this - there's nothing currently on there to say why there's so few channels showing.

run an upgrade to restore channels ...
Now that SPB TV in OVI store i guess would be nice if moderator will rename thread to something like "SPB TV for N900" or just remove "beta".

I'm in Portugal and also getting only 16 channels. Maybe it's a regional thing?
