Hello, Hello!
So I decided to take a break from working on this app and decided to implement something new for the site. So I give you:
The random button!
The new Random link in the nav will take you to a random wallpaper every time you refresh the page. I've also added a rating bar near the top too, on the random page, so we can uncover some of the older but great wallpapers. Rating wallpapers is strangely cathartic.
Enjoy

Sorry, I haven't gone through the discussion but are you considering creating installable packages with 1-10 wallpapers around specific topics/genders?
If you give the chance to users to get 10 panorama wallpapers directly installed with a single click or having to go through saving images one by one, then editing the desktop to assign the sets of 4 images for each desktop... guess what they will choose.
Also, someone said that you are complaining somewhere about running all this thing and not having access to a device for testing etc ---> http://wiki.maemo.org/Fremantle_Developer_Device_Queue

As far as I know from talking to the owner of n900wallpapers.com, the plan is to create an API for the site as well as an application for Maemo that will interface with it to allow users to directly download and apply new wallpapers at will. Also automatic creation of the .desktop files needed to allow users to apply all four images at the same time.
Most people are not planning on making their own packages though.

Reviving an important thread, great site for the wallpapers.
I notice someone's made a 4 wallpaper set of Ashburton Grove, anyone around who can make one for Anfield (Liverpool FC) or Camp Nou (FC Barcelona) ?
I've been looking for pics on Flickr but can't find the right one(s).

A bit annoying that loopable packs are mixed with "fully loopable" packs (where the 4th image loops with the 1st one)... 360° panoramas are the best 
Anyway, so far 10% of the wallpapers are from me... cmon people, you can do better...
