The simplest way to accomplish this is probably to temporarily copy images to a folder on your internal or external memory card using the file manager.

You might also consider sending the files via Bluetooth, if the destination computer has the necessary hardware. If you don't already have the hardware, Bluetooth USB dongles are available that are inexpensive, require no extra drivers in XP/Vista, and are small enough to travel even with the Captain Tightpants set.

Just a note, liqbase takes very small pictures. Admittedly, the camera takes very bad pictures, so you're really not losing a whole lot, but the other camera apps out there take 640x480 images. I think sjgadsby's right about the hardware button, however. Most of the camera apps use an on-screen button to take the pictures. This has never been an issue with my N800, since I can swivel the camera, but I can see it being an issue with the N810.

One other thing: Most camera apps also randomly crash the tablet. Liqbase avoids this, I think mainly by not taking full-size photos. But I don't know.
