well i had given a try to create through wizard bt wasnt working to i created the acount on email.nokia.com and thn accessed the same account from and it worked ! so i would say try that if this doesnt work .

@sdesai furry muff if you've done it, but i wasn't aware it worked that way around (i.e. accounts can only be created first from phone).

Nokia are a business and have chosen a path of using the OSS community phenomenon to reduce their overheads specifically after sales support and development. Unlike Apple who do the opposite and make a killing from their Applications store.
