Is sad to say, but you cant compare the HD features of the Galaxy S (both in hardware as software level) with the N900

Well of course you can output video/audio thru a USB/HDMI adapter but it will not be HD.

It is kind of pointless:
4.95 gigabits is the max data output of a HDMI channel (5068 megabits)
USB only gives you about 2400 megabits
