no. i didnt restore anything because i want to have my phone like brand new without any of my personal data on it. even tho i reflash it, my personal files are still there. sigh

In my case it was probably for the best anyway as the phone had not been reflashed since the original 2009 release, only upgraded OTA a few times and much tinkered with, so it was in a flaky state anyway
Now at least it's in a known stable configuration, but I'm saving your instructions for next time...
