Not quite the same problem as the thread starter, but similar enough I think...

With the PR1.3 update some of my contacts now only show the phone number instead of the name when they text me - not sure if anyone else has this issue, but it's a failing that plagued symbian (probably still does) - maybe they ported it as a feature? : )

If I use +<country code> Number it might show the name sometimes, other times not.

If I strip out the country code, same thing.

Yeah mine also does some weird stuff with the country code, about 1/4 of my contacts have the country code +27 on the numbers but for some reason those numbers don't work(Cant call the number). As soon as i remove the +27 and replace with a 0, then it calls the number!
