Without your needs and uses listed, that type of criteria would allow for people to give you a better answer instead of the above opinions only that might not coincide with your needs/wants.

And for the record, who would ever buy a smartphone in this day and age and not want it to connect to the Internet? That's like buying a HDTV and never turning it on.

In my opinion N9 is a better device but unfortunately right now Windows Phone is far more commercial and there are more apps for it.

Having lots of apps is IMHO one of the least useful criteria for a device

all of the apps that I use daily on my N9 are nowhere to be found on WP8 (either the specific app or something that works as well)

N9 hands down.

WP is way too limited
