Official WhatsApp clients use 5222 and 443 and they cycle (they try both).

Yappari only uses 5222. I'll try to implement both.

@tiempjuuh: you're hitting the offline images bug (Yappari can't receive offline images and connects and disconnects several times when receives one until it expires). Try to keep your Yappari connected all the time to avoid the bug.

Buenas noches scorpius,

solo una idea a ver si la puedes implementar en Yappari...

sera posible agregar una confirmacion de seleccion de imagen cuando vas a enviar un multimedia??? tu sabes que el cel tiende a ralentizarse cuando abre el menu para seleccionar la imagen y si lo hace mientras exploras la carpeta hay muchas probabilidades de que envie la imagen equivocada... por lo demas todo bien.

hi-also experienced similar problems with yappari n900 since several days, regardless of the internet connection (private, hospital, mobile phone).while trying to connect it is followed by time out, then display switches to : please confirm your country code. neither sending nor receiving possible.greets cn

Hi Scorpius,
I have a question, it would be nice if you answer me. When someone who is not in my contact list add me on WhatsApp, I just can see his/her username, but not a phone number. Is there a way I could find and save number? Thanks in advance!

There's no way in Yappari to save that number yet, but if you read your log you can find that person's number. That way you could save it.

I use Crochik dbBrowser to open yappari log files. You can find it in extras-devel.

I just realized that i deleted one of my friends' number in my contact but it appears when i select "chat". Yappari didn't delete his number. Why??
