I got bored with my N9, and my daughter needed a new phone so I've gone back to my N900. I've bought a couple of spares just in case.

Next step - pimp my N900's (CSSU-Thumb, beef up the USB port and so on).

I'm still using my N900 (from Dec 2009) as a primary phone. I also have another spare if/when my primary N900 breaks. Currently the spare serves as a nice alarm clock until its time come...

I also bought N9, but it serves as my wifes phone.

Still using mine, well 2 of them. One as my main phone and one is tethered to my openwrt router providing the house with 3g (landline ADSL is crap around here. 1/2 meg at best. I'm getting an average of 4 meg on 3g)
There is just no clear upgrade path from the N900. The newer hardware would be nice but the droids, iphones etc just seem crippled in comparison. I received a galaxy SIII mini from my provider last month as an upgrade but, meh, it didn't excite me at all so I gave it to my wife.
I guess I'll be using my old faithfull N900 for some time to come

no, afraid not. i still use it on a regular, almost daily, basis (for SSH to my Pi, router etc and MPD front end) but the battery life wasn't satisfactory. i bought a Nokia e6 in Thailand for dirt cheap and, while it's not half the platform of the 900, i get two days *use* out of it and it works fantastically well as a phone. and, of course, it has a hardware keyboard which i love. interesting that both of my phones which are great for different things are based on solid platforms that Nokia have left for dead.

i still want an n9 though!
