Will we ever get to the stage where you can mobile games against other N900 users online. Similiar to x-box live and PS3 network...
The way i understand it, not over the existing phone network. The latency is really high. It would be fine for turn-based and RTS games but that's not really what you have in mind, is it?

BTW Battle Gweled lets you play vs over wifi and the other PC ports of multiplayer games do the same IIRC (Quake, etc.).

Classic example of arbitrary Nokia decision making. Couldn't just fallback to the no brainer of tagging with lat/lon if network isn't accessible, could you Nokia?
MAME: an arcade in your pocket
Accelemymote: make your accelerometer more joy-ful

I'd pay up to £8 ($12) for a game like that

(same price gravity cost me on my N97).

unity is where its at for game development. im making a racing game with unity now. if the unity plugin worked on the n900 we could open up to another world of gaming.

for racing see www.3dnemo.com.

www.interstellarmarines.com is another beauty.

I don't think we'll see anything new regarding paid for games on the N900 until PR1.2
