i don't believe in a trinity, but do you know that satan often would like to appear like an angel of light?

Lucifer, the shining one, was the name the romans gave to the planet Venus as it was so bright on the night's sky. During early christianity AFAIK this name was also attributed to Jesus. Nowadays, Lucifer isn't used as an attribute for the planet Venus or Jesus anymore, though.

Is this different in the U.S. (or, more general, in English speaking countries)? Does "Jesus Phone" have a positive meaning there?
its used as a positive term for it .... see

Lucifer comes from the words Lux Ferre, which in Latin means light bringer. There is a lot more interesting stuff to be said about this character, but I understand that this forum is not the place to talk about that.

That being said, I'm not christian. I'm Atheist for the record. :P

I would rather the N900 be nicknamed the ComputerPhone. As you can run desktop applications on it at decent speed. This would bring no negative association from anyone that is not afraid to touch a computer.

(I know things are slower than on the N8x0, but I believe it will pick up speed after some updates )

I hate to bring a dose of seriousness to a whimsical thread; however it begs to be answered.

If the N900, step 4 out of 5 in the Maemo upgrade path is to be considered the "God phone"... then what's the next step gonna be called? God 2.0?

Just wondering... when I should be sleeping.

ifone is nicknamed 'Jesus Phone' .. we should nickname N900 'GOD PHONE'
Actually I had the same thought about it being better than the iphone but I had a totally different idea for the nickname.

Instead of "I Phone" the N900 is actually the opposite its the "I not a phone"

As it has been said before the N900 is a "internet tablet with gsm phone functions" the "I phone" is basically cave man talk the device is claming its a phone, big deal there are tons of phones out there.

The Nokia "I not a phone" is stating how its so much more than just a phone.
