Flashed to global as well, and no problems at all.
Actually it seems a tad smoother/faster, but could just be because I haven't flashed for a while :-)

,flashed mine with middle east fw...no major problems so far....
,i only have one minor problem though,,,even when i'm still in 1.2,,,i can't seem to make my ym work,,when i enable,it always say "not signed-in",,though it is working in pidgin...

I flashed mine yesterday, I have issues with some shortcuts not working. To get my software update to work I have to go to the maemo store to select a program to install then it will fire up the app. Also Firefox wont start from the shortcut.

i flashed mine with ovi at the beggining but i was not confortable with the update; so i reflashed manually with the 3.5 flasher and now its ok and running smooth.
