I reinstalled my qtsdk and made this package:
http://jpii.fi/filemanager/testing/q...1_12_armel.deb

Does it work for you? If it does I will then push the update forward.

Is it really working on N900?

What OS did you use? I guess it was the MeeGo version, as at least it did not install due to missing dependencies to default distro.

I spent then few minutes after that to create a quick-and-dirty version to test the C++ part of the application. If you are in a desperate need of yet another file manager, you can get it for N900 from http://jpii.fi/filemanager/testing/fremantle/. That comes without any kind of warranty and suitability for it's purpose. Although you should be able to browse files and execute them in external applications, if the file type is associated.
Maemo, but i cant use options(delete, copy, paste,) only i can searching files in my tel.

Yeah that fremantle version was a yet another quick and dirty filemanager and it is not using the same codebase as the qadfilemanager. And you can only browse files with it and launch them, nothing else.

I have published the full source code for this application @
https://gitorious.org/qad-file-manager/qad-file-manager

Free free to make modifications and then merge requests..

EDIT: 15.2.2012 - The code is in transition to github.com, so the gitorious address is not valid. Meanwhile if you like to have the source code, it can be requested thru email.

It seems that I had misunderstood the Ovi store pricepoint thing. I thought that I would be able to publish an application as free and then change the price point to x. And also all of those you who downloaded for free would get the updates for free.

But this does not seem to be the case. So I am forced to release a "QAD File Manager FREE" for you guys who would like to have the application and to test it, but do not see the application to be worth for paying for. Meanwhile there will be the paid version which you can always buy to support the development.

So to said in short, my idea was NOT to screw the community over in this, the idea was that those active members would have the application for free as well as the future updates. But definitely a separate free version will serve the community better, as then you have a choice which one to get and if you want to pay for it or not.
