Has anyone been using the MaemoSDK? I haven't noticed any mention of it. just curious.
I would like to try my hand at compiling a native bt5 for the maemo. My problem is the amount of time it would take me. The learning curve is more like a mountian than a hill, which is okay by me. I just don't feel it would be completed in any amount of time to be benificial to anyone.

Hey guys, one question here:

I have bt5.img in MyDocs (VFAT) partition.
Would moving it to MicroSD with ext3 FS make a difference in performance? It's a class 6 Transcend card.
It handles Easy Debian very very well. No bottlenecks around.

Just wanted to ask you before I test it mv'ing bt5.img to Microsd.
Thanks a lot.

IMO it should have a better performance
But ask more people to make sure

You can look at my previous posts here or my blog for instructions on getting the original 5gb ISO to work - https://seventhoctober.net/2011/05/b...on-nokia-n900/

I would like to compile the kernel, all of the other programs and their depends, directly in the native fremantle os. In other words... "start from scratch".

SDK = Software Development Kit

P.S. Sorry it took so long to respond.
