Still, without the possibility to choose either apophis or hathor for building it's useless - you can't for example build Qt apps on apophis thumb - you need hathor, IIRC and there exist package which can't be build on hathor thumb - you need apophis.

Is there any difference in package dependencies during build process, except for -thumb suffix? I mean if someone adds thumb repository on cssu device, package can be installed but wont run?
That info could be usefull to restrict/split thumb and cssu packages per-repository.

Anyway, Maemo repositories probably will be launched during upcoming weekend.

Thumb packages depend on libstc++6 4.7. A user without cssu thumb won't install it. He might be notified about an update nevertheless (i don't know whether or not)

Update notification should not be triggered, since package is not installable in this case.
Thanks for the info, repositories will be launched soon

Maemo support added to openrepos.

Create "Maemo Application", fill the details, and package will be available at your personal repository located at maemo.openrepos.net. For example my is https://maemo.openrepos.net/basil
If your certificate pem database at maemo-device is outdated, you can use http-based url: http://maemo.openrepos.net/basil.

Add personal repository
Code:
deb http://maemo.openrepos.net/basil personal main
All packages are signed with openrepos key, so dont forget to import it before adding repositoies.
Code:
wget -O - http://maemo.openrepos.net/openrepos.key | apt-key add -
There is no Warehouse for N900 yet. For now, you can manually add target repositories, and browse application from any preffered package manager, i.e. "Faster application manager" or any other.

Just when I was thinking (after reading this thread) about why OpenRepos doesn't have Maemo support, and it happened!
Thanks!

I should have thought why I'm not rich
