When you attempt to replace you should do :

devel-su
cp -R /path/to/your/file /path/to/the/destination/

So did you use the -R option in cp?

do exactly:

devel-su
[password]

cp -R /home/user/.emoticonthemecache/icon-s-messaging-smiley-x.png /opt/N9QTweak/Emoticons/.emotionthemecache/

The cp is one command in entirety...

Crap, I'm so absent-minded. Thanks again.

Maybe problem in this service ?
Do you applied some tweaks to Conversation (enlraged emoticons, enlarged text etc...) ?
I tried with Live Messenger. I managed to fix this after reboot and reinstalling this IM thingy. Now it works. Everything was kinda stock. Only Quick Transistion mod and thats it!

Anyway. The added vkb function key toolbar is really useful. However, they're only added to the stock meego-terminal. Is there any way to add this functionality to another terminal client, like mtermite?
For mtemite you can do as root user:
Code:
cp -r -f /opt/N9QTweak/Terminal/function-Keys.xml /opt/mtermite/toolbars/
PS: The command is all on one line.

Schturman, have you had a look on wolke's vkb toolbars for metermite and regular terminal? It gives you a toggle to switch instead of swiping to switch between arrows and shell toolbars...
