I tried using your ppa via sudo apt-add-reporsitory https://launchpad.net/~mzanetti/+archive/testing

But an apt-get update following resulted in:
Code:

I havd lost track - does this on the n900 work with xbmc v13.0 alpha x?

I am having trouble getting my files listed if they are not in a library: videos for one. Can see and play them on the server but not see them via the n900.

I think for using apt-add-repostory its this:

Code:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:mzanetti/testing

I have not yet tried xbmc 13 alpha at all. If you want a usable system I would not recommend upgrading xbmc to 13 alpha yet. If you still do, please send me some informations on how it works, what parts of xbmcremote need to be updated to make it work with 13

Thank you, that did it. I will report testing results in a few days, when I had time to mess with my xbmc.

Nearly forgot to report: this works with xbmc 13 alpha pretty well. The up:down/left:right buttons can be a tad unresponsive but overall, I would say this is good to go.

Sees files just fine: that issue sorted after a reboot.

Thank-you...
