The most annoying thing is they can be posted quicker than we can report them.

I still think all them werleps accounts I mentioned above should have been removed.

I have seen this tactic before on a friends website that we used to share. It was a small forum for our group of RC fanatics and almost everyday there would be tens of new users (mostly Spanish) join who all shared their same birthday on the following day after joining. haha

It happened to be a bot that would periodically add a bunch of usernames. We got around it by adding a hidden text field in the Registration Page. The idea behind that was that a human user would obviously use a mouse to click in the text fields, where the bot would become confused as the "auto tab" script would start filling out the wrong boxes

Thanks to everyone who has been reporting these-- THAT is the solution (we don't really need more moderators, just patient people using the tools available).

I took care of reports this morning and will gladly do so every time I see them.

That's what is done every time: clean and ban.
