I think that was a slap in offscreens face. I would have taken my concern to offscreen in private to be positive about helping rather than negative. But thats just me.

That reminds me of someone posting keygen security holes on an Official Anti-Virus download site.......
My first concern is always about protecting the user. After that, maybe I can send an email to Offscr, yes.

Sometimes people deserve slaps in their faces.

Have you ever tested any app in Extras-Testing? Maemo.org rules are hard to be followed, and many times we ask the developers for perfection. Then I see some fart apps coming from Ovi Store developed with noncurance. Of course I want to give my negative feedback.

If you call your staying quiet an "encouragement", good luck. I prefer my encouragement.

@torpedo- how many people (in your country for e.g) would you estimate know of this shortcut to disable the pin?

torpedo84; you're an idiot. When you start making applications and actually assisting the community, you can complain and *****. Until then, keep it in your little head.

Keep personal attacks to a minimum.

I don't see you in the first position in this chart. Maybe I've assisted this community a bit. And maybe you should thank me for breaking my devices many times in order to test and give you apps in Extras.

Abusing other posters is hardly a constructive way forward

Never mind, I've just reported him. Hope some measurements will be taken. Maybe after that he will start assisting this community seriously.

You find very harsh words for an application that, while being actually cool and nice, isn't 120% perfect.

Yet when I look at the packages that you tested and how you commented on them, I see you don't follow the perfect testing procedure yourself. (Document what you tested and what not, give comments on specific requirements rather than general comments about the application.)

If you expect other contributors to this community to be 120% perfect, try being it yourself.

Everybody is beating a dead horse here. I get what everyone is saying about its an app and joke app or not still a good app but i'm sure the OP is looking out for people who take this app serious and when they phone gets stole with it on than there going to be pissed. I had an app like this on my winmo phone and it really did work wonders you could hear it in the next room and it was no way you can shut it down or off without the code. I would say stop flaming the OP for trying to tell people that this app is not a real anti theft app but thank him for pointing out the flaws in the app and making sure people know that hey this wont protect your phone 100%. People are so quick to jump on ones case when they don't see eye to eye on this forum. Its Friday lets all just chill and enjoy the best phone thats out on the current market

And that sir is why you fail. I will take someone rude over someone actively stupid any day of the week, but I digress.

The app isnt perfect, agreed, but for what It does it seems to work fairly well. Let us not forget its free. I am just happy to see apps starting to appear.
