Stupid question;

The .tar extension means I need to download and install from the n810 itself correct?

Is there any code that needs to be run to get theresult that is shown in the video from earlier?

Did you get skippy set up to install as a package yet?
Sorry, didn't saw this post

You can get skippy-xd from extras-devel, but it has a lot of... hm... problems. Buggy and unstable.
But my friend will make a better application switcher based on skippy-xd in a two weeks... I hope

I think busybox is one of the system applications you can't remove. Anyways this morning I've solved it... but i don't know what was the problem I've just overwrite my hildon-application-manager.list with a backup copy i've done before. After "apt-get update" some libraries have been updated and i've been able to install Skippy-xd and Quasar.

........now i've to learn how to use skippy

Probably i'm going to use you config files...

Thanx anyways for you kind reply.

Thx for your advise but I usually read and check before to do something I've just commented the part about the tasknavigator in my config files because I'm using the ThinkLinux theme too. Doing this i loose the notifications too, am i right?

Please, how can I do to maintain the tasknavigator and assign the Skippy-xd to some other key? For example how can i assign the skippy-xd to the "back" button (the one under the home)?

I think i need both the classic tasknavigator and skippy-xd because this one sometimes doesnt work perfect.

Thx again for your replies!!!

Yep.

Just leave the tasknavigator and go to Menu → Extras → Skippy-xd conf and edit it. Home button is F5, «Back» button is esc, but I'm not sure.

By the way, if somebody wants a bit more information - please watch the video i made a minute ago.

If you have an N800 whatever you do, DO NOT set the activation key to F3!

F4 is the menu button. Not ideal if you use it.

F6 is the top window resize button.

F7 is the + magnification

F8 is the - magnification

I hope your tablet is ok xD
So what F3 was?

F8 is the - magnification
F5 is the Home button

Hey, what about «Back» button = esc?
