I'm suddenly having a new problem with my beloved clock...

It had been working flawlessly since last October, but in the past few weeks it got "stuck" twice.

First it was only one digit (minutes), the others kept updating. A reboot fixed it.

Now, since yesterday, the entire clock is frozen. The other widgets on the desktop(s) still work fine.

I have no idea what causes this, probably some other change in the system that had nothing to do with QBW...

The question is, how can I restart my clock without rebooting the N990 or killing hidon-desktop ?

Hi all. I have just decided to put this on my phone. I have it working. Trouble is, every time the clock updates (each minute) it seems to push my cpu usage up to 80 percent for about 20 - 30 seconds. I opened up top to see what was using cpu, and it is image viewer. I reflashed my phone earlier today because I wasn't sure what was causing it. Phone has been fine, but as soon as I set this going, it hammers my cpu and makes the phone slow as ..... Also, I notice the actual minute png won't change until the cpu has died down again. Is it just my phone or is this a real cpu hog? By the way, I have the full flipclock yahoo weather widget running.

EDIT: Well, I decided to flash emmc and firmware to try to fix this. It did. Obviously something was up with my phone. The only thing that seems to be wrong, is that it doesn't update automatically. It does when I tap, change desktops and at startup. Update policies all yes apart from multiclick. ?
