In fact, this application is in extras-devel ...
But you can make an exception, it is not harmful and (at this time) works only in read-only mode: To rate, you should go on the web site.

Less ironically, help with it is appreciated As pointed out in it's thread it's undergoing a little transformation that makes it zippier, lighter, with less dependencies, and with a little eye-candy as side effect Expect it to be pushed to testing this week.

I would like to add an option (link) in my application (i.e. SleepAnalyser), so people can vote for it easier.
How ever, the question is, how do I do that in a good way?
The option/status should only be available as long as votes are needed. But to know that, the app would have to check in the internet the current status. How ever most people do not like if an application "calls home".
The other thing would be to just make sure the option is displayed for a few months. It would be quite difficult to guess this time in advance.

The thing that annoys me the most:
When ever i make a minor bug fix and move it to testing, all votes get lost. This is very frustrating for the maintainer as well as the testers.
I wish there would be a better solution for that.

Update: today I counted 182 applications in extras-testing repository.
Please, test and rate.

Surely many of you are already using applications that are still in extras-esting and must be rated.
It can be very helpful to use a application that tells you what applications you have and which are extras-testing: "KISSTESTER".

The whole process should get easier once kisstester is working as needed and is in testing (or extras) itself.
It will make the whole proccess much easier.

Update: today I counted 232 applications in extras-testing repository.

Many complain that there are few applications, but often the developpers did not have the satisfaction of seeing their applications in the free catalogs.

m750, you know many dev didn't care anymore to have apps in extras (stable), most every user use testing or devel ...
