A note for the people who purchased their N9 from Handtec:

The product variant is 059J1V4 - RM-696 NDT AUSTRIA BLACK 64GB.

I may be wrong but the current/latest firmware for the 059J1V4 variant is 10.2011.34-1_PR_001 (or DFL61_HARMATTAN_10.2011.34-1_PR_LEGACY_001-OEM1-958_ARM ) which appears to be earlier than the other firmware versions in the wild, so do not be surprised by multiple reboots, freezes etc until the new firmware update arrives.

It now works but various apps still crash quite frequently - I'm hoping it's not a hardware problem but I'll see if others report the same.

Aside from all the issues, it's a nice device.

I've never used IPMart but the 16GB seems to be available for $545.99

Prior to getting my device locally, I was considering several options. Since I wanted the 64GB version, I used live chat to ask when they'll have it in stock. They said they'll be getting it when it's available in the market, whatever that means.

Bought the Cyan 16gb version from Negri, shipped from Hong Kong.

I'm supposed to get it tomorrow. Pleasant experience so far.

Couple of questions:

1) Anyone found any physical differences in the Finnish made version and the Chinese made version?

2) Anyone know when the Nokia Play 360 Speaker will be available? Nokia said Q3, we are well into Q4 now!

If it helps (as a guide), the Play 360 is due 30 Nov in UK .

Edit: Amazon UK and Play.com were my sources.

I also like the idea of the Play360. I don't really need it, but I do want it

I'm waiting for it to hit Amazon US, which is selling the Nokia 701, which is NFC-enabled. There's no real reason for it not to be sold in the US; it's not a Symbian vs. Meego vs. WP7 thing, so we might as well wait until it gets nice and cheap.

Yep. My Handtec device carries the same firmware and I can confirm the system crashes. What release do other people have?
