Hi there

Well, PayPal is not main problem, I can loan money (pay from credit card, for example) and withdraw money from paypal account somehow lately.
Main problem is Nokia But, seriously, I don't want to invest a penny to nokia products... After they was so greedy with n950.
However, I ready to take some risks and, damn, spent some money and time for nitdroid/n9.

There are risks of the project:
1. 3D gfx. It's the same PITA as n900/ics has.
2. ofono/cmtspeechdata. Probably all would work fine, but who (nokia?) knows.
3. GPS. If it's connected thru cell modem, it's nearly imposible to use.

So was I. Just check on youtube how smooth ICS runs on HD2, and it's still a beta. N9's GPU is more than 2x faster.

FYI, you won't get anything official on older hardware. Droid 2 and Droid X are OMAP 36xx devices. They should be able to run ICS, just not sure if bootloader is unlocked on those 2 motorola devices. BTW, ICS is optimized on an OMAP device, so should be able to run real smooth on a PowerVR GPU. Also, N9 has more than enugh RAM for perfectly smooth operation.

A side question:
I have always wondered, NITDroid ICS runs smoothly on the HD2 which packs an Adreno 200 GPU, then why, on our SGX530 on the N900, ICS runs choppy? Is it only due to the lack of ram?
Can someone link me to the requirements of ICS? I cannot find a reliable website.

Well Android does have it's own proprietary display sub-system, it doesn't rely on x or wayland etc.
So it may well be that the drivers aren't yet perfectly tuned for that...

So it is a software limitation, not a hardware one, right?
