hi guys, sorry for not adding the menu to save to folders : / it was a must to have it there. I am asking the guys to write the support for it asap. Also for podcast.
Also I will make sure there's a way to avoid going to the home folder.

We just cannot "hard code" it to the removable disk because some users don't have and we want to make the simple ui (choose the downloads folder) but still if we did it test wouldincrease so much, that we decided to leave this to next week :

sorry for the annoyance : /

No big deal.
It's still great to have this!!

Also, for now, the symlink works.

I just created a dir called videos in a tmp folder. Then I did:
cd /home/user/.canola/youtube
ln -s /media/mmc1/tmp/videos videos

(I think I did a "rmdir videos" first, to delete the original videos dir.)

Works great!!

It is a small annoyance to an otherwise awesome piece of software. It will be nice when we can specify a folder so that we can download larger YT files.

Canola is definietly my show off piece when someone wants to see my N800, and it just keeps getting better. Keep up the great work

@extreme: I know, I already apollogized (I know it s*** to hear so much apologies ) and we are working on it for podcast and the youtube. I will push it really hard this week so we have this asap. Don't worry we are not trying to pass this one, we really know how important this is.. and how to do it.

@desiv : thanks for sharing to the others: )

@qwerty12

sound is the only thing I get. I do have latest MPlayer installed.
Actually I might have codecs issues ? I can't play videos from VideoCenter either (the one Nokia suggests!) with Media Player.

Oops, I misread post. Sorry.

mplayer 26 which is the latest fixes a canola problem.

What is your "vo" line in /etc/mplayer/mplayer.conf?

And if exists, in ~/.mplayer/config

I have to wait about 10 seconds before video shows. Do you have the rotation patch for OS2008 installed too?
