good idea but that would waste more memory.
may be a customizable micro proxy could help altering agent.

@taril, you are only manipulating added entry general.useragent.override which is entered by HideUserAgent. I just use Firefox/3.6.6 as a solution.

initial question was what should general.useragent.vendor value needs to be because by default cnet.com forces you down m.cnet.com path

You're wrong, i dont use hideuseragent, simply edit pref.json/user.json for firefox. That is all.
Firefox 3.6.6 isnt a solution: check firefox.com/m ...

They've changed it so you get full gmail by default now.

damion, I noticed this about a week (maybe two, as of this posting, don't know for sure) ago, and just haven't gotten around to editing the thread again. Thanking you anyways because I think it's a useful post, even if I personally already found out too.
