Tgalal already mentioned that contact sync is not working and its due to Whatsapp issue not the wazapp.. and for now you can just chat with people who send a msg to you first..

Partly you're right but that problem was seen in 0.8.10 at least for the last two weeks already and there was no problem of this kind in 0.2.7.
Anyway, if Sync server is down - something could be fixed so that Wazapp doesn't just stuck in "Loading" telling nothing and forcing user to reboot, but says something.

LOL... looks like glamour runs wazapp now... Thanks Tarek for the effort... must have been very difficult dealing with this Yowsup

Wazapp consists of 2 parts, the IM application (wazapp), which is in Python, and the accounts plugin (waxmppplugin) in C++. The accounts plugin should be rewritten in python soon.

If i'm not completly wrong this is now the part, that was formerly in C++, now as compiled Python. Probably one of the reasons, it took a bit longer than expected...

Why don't you try deleting your account? If you have any other device? or you could ask whatsapp support to delete your account from their servers.

i deleted my account in nokia n9 when i installed the new release. I dont hv any other account under the number i was using ( and still want to use) nor other device.
But tnx for the tip, i will ask whatsapp support to do that...maybe somehow my number got blocked or something.

yeah I was talking about deleting your account from Whatsapp servers and not only from N9 Accounts. Try that and I think it will work.
