Sorry but i'm quite confused.

Ok, i think i sort it out. I had the CSSU-enabler update available but it seems CSSU was not installed or incorrectly installed.
I installed cssu-eabler, then cssu-community-etc appear on the update list.
cssu-enabler was 19KB download, but community is about 32MB, so there was something wrong on my install.

Thanks.

I had the same situation on my two devices. CSSU enabler in HAM contained 19kb and that was it, of course - as adviced here - I first updated Operator name widget. But then on XTerm after "apt-get update" , "apt-get upgrade" it was 20.8 Mb but with some packages that where kept back. After installing them manualy it was all good. On the second one few things went just bit ditch wise and I had to conduct full reflash (all 830 Mb of optional and mandatory files).

Ok, run these command which enable debugging, reboot device and post output of files: /home/user/opername.log /home/user/cbsms.log

$ gconftool -s /apps/connui-cellular/logging_enabled -t bool true
$ gconftool -s /apps/connui-cellular/name_logging_enabled -t bool true

After running these 2 commands and rebooting there is now only one provider name on the Desktop ! Note that before posting, I had already restarted the phone and it did not change anything.
I think the problem is corrected, but I do not know why or how.

Above two commands only enabling debug messages, nothing more. Operator name depens on what BTS sends to you. This depends on your position, but also on operator's BTS.

If you get same problem again, upload coresponding parts on that two log files (it has time info)...

don't forget to control size and eventually rm every now and then both log files!

After installing busybox 3:1.10.2.legal-1osso31+0cssu0 over busybox 3:1.10.2.legal-1osso30+0m5 the bzip2 program does not work properly. It shows:
Code:
# bzip2
bzip2: applet not found
This leads to problems with apt-get update for example. Shows the same error while trying to extract the package lists.
My first thought, reverting to ...0-0m5, doesn't change anything.

Edit: I've also installed busybox-power, could this be related to the error?

Edit 2: Ah, I wasn't aware (or forgot) that busybox-power replaces normal one. Problem solved by
Code:
 apt-get install --reinstall busybox-power
