So happy to see so many entries for this month's competition. I don't have a pet with me, and almost all animals around me are hidden in winter. I was planning to enter the competition with something related. Until I saw this guy outside my house in Cambridge. I took my camera out and he was trying to run away. And here he is (escaping).

Took with Panasonic CM1 and I didn't have a chance to walk closer. Please see the original picture to see him in a clearer vision.

====================================

Edit: After a second thought I decided to enter the competition with the first picture, took in the local shopping centre in Cambridge with the CM1. Original.

There is a slight difference but the picture is still not shown.

One thing all my experiments have in common that is different from yours is that they were all conducted from the UK. Perhaps the content blocking is location based?
This is getting OT, but just to let you know you are not alone. I have the exact same issue... Picture is not shown in N900 browser, nor Firefox or IE. Firefox and IE tried on two different computers using different ISP.

Haha imagine the rage inside.., thanks for demonstrating why N900 has a built in flash with blue-reflection for demasking jobs like this.

Don't vote for me or I put next topic "Sneaky Women from Venus"

Edit: about the picture not displaying: No go in Firefox but Iron (OSX based "secure" Chrome) shows an image icon, and I can right click on it to "show picture in new tab"

Where the photo should be is this icon:

The result displays in a new tab and is very much revealing about the specimen as the photo site automatically linked its image to the typical "our women" , "our cash" and invasive looking space ships or drones which are common interest / targets to invaders of our beautiful blue planet.

Nothing wrong with cropping. Especially with this month's theme. Getting the right pose, framed properly, of a subject that may not want to be approached . . .

Sure wish it were Summer and I could find another hummingbird moth, that'd be a nice entry. But trying to get the face, in focus, that's tricky. Guess I'll just add YAKC (yet another kitty cat) . . . as soon as I'm done cropping it

Here goes . . .

Hummingbird moths are really skittish... I've only shot a handful of shots and that was with a DSLR.
Here's the neighbour's dog Caesar looking sadly as I walk away from him to school.
Taken with Huawei Y300. Original photo.
