All the time - the keyboard is one great reason for the N900. I have mine for over a year now and have detected no problems with the slider at all.

I slide it open and close it quick just to make clicking sound to beat time with the music I'm listening to.

I open the keyboard every time I take my n900 out of my pocket. On average I my guesstimate is I open and close the slider 30 times a day. Have had the device for 461 days, so that makes 13830 times so far. Still as tight as ever.

Whatever everything I use which can slide are as tight as before....nothing has loosen so far...Touchwood.

ammm i dont know how funny it looks but i have to ask it cause of my curiosity .
i dont feel good when i open the slider to use keyboard very often , like i feel that using it more will loosen it up :$
need some one to consolidate :P
