Hi

After wide search ... nothing developed in Qt or else for MAEMO exist, but is fuly on demand.
So here is my solution :
You need :

To get i work :
1- Download the jar setup file : http://home.btconnect.com/stevesj/abcj/ABCJSetup.jar

2- Run it with a command "java -jar ABCJSetup.jar"

3- At the end of installation you can see two folders created : ABCJ & Desktop.
In the Desktop Directory is stored two differents appearence modes, but they are not working as is.

4- Copy ABCJ.desktop to /usr/share/applications/hildon

5- edit it with following options :

[Desktop Entry]
Categories=Application;Development
Encoding=UTF-8
TryExec=/home/user/ABCJ/ABCJ.sh
Exec=/home/user/ABCJ/ABCJ.sh
Icon=/home/user/ABCJ/abcj.png
# MimeType=
Name=ABCJ
Path=/home/user/ABCJ
Type=Application

6- Put the shortcut somewere on your desktop, as usual : the Icon ABJC is listed in the available shortcut.

USAGE
This application is a text music notation editing using ABC's standard notation : http://abc.sourceforge.net
But warning, if you try to play directly from the application, CPU comsumption will grow to its max ... but nothing to ear : it's not working.
Solution : Select the tune to play / Clic on the "Tunes" menu, then "Create MIDI Files from selected Tune" ... save the midi file sowhere ... and open it with the std hildon player !

Enjoy !
Regards
