Hi,
I'm using the Prefinal 2 VM SDK images and have problems with the App manager.
when I press "download" I can see the apps but a click doesn't install anything.
When I try "update" I get a blank screen.

Any ideas?

AIUI it's a known thing, and the solution was/is to use apt at the commandline.

Actually this sounds more like you need to activate red pill mode and then go into Settings and tick enable Assume net connection, in App manager.

That will let you install software, but there are still some huge issues with app manager in the SDK in my experience. Upgrades seem to outright fail due to dependencies despite the fact you would expect it to do that automatically.

I know you've already managed this, but for future searchers, the top half of http://wiki.maemo.org/Documentation/...cation_Manager explains how to do this.

https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5304 is the bug report.
