matada: First, it is important to have your removable card in the tablet when you start OpenOffice; it will only see what was available at the time it started for the first time after a reboot. Secondly, you might need to look for /media/mmc1 if it isn't labeled correctly in your file chooser. Thirdly, the directory with "apps, img-install, MyDocs" is your home directory, it is neither the internal memory card nor the removable one.

hi I've been trying to upgrade to the latest version but when I run tthe install script I get this:

The image file has not been updated since September 2008. So if you got your image file after that, you don't need to update it.

If you've damaged your image file and you can no longer access it, yes, you will have to delete the image file, as well as the .tar.bz2 file, and download a new copy.

So I've installed Virtual MIDI Keyboard in Easy-Debian, now how do I make a shortcut in the App menu like GIMP and OOo have? I know they what directory they go in but whats the process (I can't seem to just copy a shortcut, edit it - no permissions).

jself: you need to gain root, and then you can copy and edit the .desktop files.

A much easier way is to get Personal Menu, then you can add new menu items through a simple GUI.

Just put "debbie <application>" into your menu icon to run the app.

Ok, so I read your instructions, and you said that I needed to download the easy deb chroot package from the extras repository. I couldn't find where to download it. Could you give me a link or direct me to where it is?

Is there any script to uninstall this thing? I play around with it and found it not as fast as I expect. Thanks.
