I cannot find any speex-related tools for N900. gst-inspect gives a confusing info:
Code:
$ gst-inspect | grep speex
speex:  speexdec: Speex audio decoder
speex:  speexenc: Speex audio encoder
typefindfunctions: audio/x-speex: no extensions
rtp:  rtpspeexdepay: RTP Speex depayloader
rtp:  rtpspeexpay: RTP Speex payloader
Does that mean that speex is available or not?

It's now opus-codec.org and opus-tools need libogg-dev 1.3+ to compile.
But Maemo currently has only 1.1
Even Ubuntu 12.04 is using 1.2.

Both speex 1.2rc1 and 1.0.5 compile without errors on N900.

1.0.5 segfaults when using --narrowband and 1.2 produces a file twice bigger than without options. I don't get it.
