Not knowing how to do this myself, is there any way to include custom icons in a theme using MADDE. I am talking about both menu icons as other system icons. I know that it's possible to change the menu icons using Theme Maker, but is there any way to do this in MADDE. Moreover, I'd like to include other system icons, those that go it /usr/share/icons. This would put stop in the "unrar this, install SSH server, install SFTP client, backup folders, thanfer files, etc..."

Thanks!

Yep, but it does not cover anything about customizing icons or fonts etc.

From the 'share your mods' page, There was someone called 'Santiago' who created an icon pack. But it basically overwrote the images in the /usr/share/themes/alpha folder which effectively changed the default nseries theme.

Nicer icons though!

The icons are stored in /usr/share/icons
The only way you can do this is adding a new icons folder and modding rules file to add the folder in the .deb package. Also you need to add a command to move the folder to the correct location in postinst script.

Now that's what I'm talking about

In theory I knew this, but if someone with knowledge could provide info on how to actually modify the rules -file and what to add in postinst -script, it would be HIGHLY appreciated

Look at the themes the Synthesize guys made for Diablo.

Although they didn't use MADDE, their themes included custom icons that would only be set when their theme was chosen and their themes also use Autotools.

Cool, I shall download sources of those and see what's happening there.
