Myatzy is a single player implementation of Yatzy which is a public domain dice game, similar to the Latin American game Generala, the English game of Poker Dice, the Yacht (dice game), the Cheerio (dice game) and Yahtzee. Read more about Yatzy from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yatzy

Myatzy is currently available for Nemo (and other Mer based things). The game is currently included by default in Nemo releases. It's also available for Harmattan from the Nokia store (http://store.nokia.com/content/279365) altough not for free (lowest prize point, meaning ~1 euro). If you want it for Harmattan but don't feel like paying for it you are free to compile it from the sources. The game is licensed under GPLv2. You can find the sources here: http://gitorious.org/random-timoph/myatzy

What comes to making the game available for Fremantle, it really depends on what is the current status of qt-components in it. If the components are working as they should, no changes to the code is required, just need to pass one config option to qmake (CONFIG+=nemo). I'll try how it works when I have time to do it, hopefully soon.

I would also like to see a port for fremantle/N900 as i do switch between my N9 and N900

Yatzy is a fun game and would be nice to have to kill some time here and there.

TIA

Regards Dousan...

Did a test build for fremantle and it's as I expected - There's some issues with qt-components (labs 1.1 components import) so I need to do at least one fremantle specific qml to get around it. I'll try to get a working fremantle version out during this week.

This is going a bit slowly since I don't have the maemo5 sdk installed. I'm using obs to do the binaries. I also added a build to extras-devel but it won't launch so no point in trying it (yet).

Have you reported the issues you have found in Fremantle to the qt-components maintainer?.

The ultimate goal is to allow easy cross plattform development when the Community OBS is available.

no need since it seems I'm not using the correct imports. Although this requires to have separate files for fremantle and harmattan or using a build time configuration script. I think I'll go for a script.

@Timoph, feel free to contact me at forum, by mail or Twitter if you have any problem with the scripts or in your backport effords. If you have time it would be fantastic if you can open a wiki page with the steps required to backport your app. Previous recipes (miniature, butaca) are a bit outdated right now.

Hello, can anyone tell me the status of this as far as the N900 is concerned please? It is available in extras-devel repository. I have installed it but cannot get it to run. Can't see an icon for it in the applications.
Thanks.

sorry haven't had the time to work on the n900 port. I'll try to find some time to work on it soonish.

In other news the game is now free for Harmattan in nokia store.
