well I just got a call from UK from my friend he said that I called him like 3 minutes ago but did not say anything.

checked my call log on tmobile's website there is no international outgoing calls though.

i haven't heard this one anywhere else.

the crash reporter does use sms's, but no, i don't think there is a hidden mechanism that would make random calls secretly to numbers in your contact book

well tried using that flasher but it doesnot work. Too bad I do not have any windows machine to work with.
Until this gets resolved I will be getting back to my 8801 and use this just as MID.

Those teleco minutes/calls checkers are delayed about 24 hours, I learned that the hard way. If it does keep this up and you aren't charged, I think we would be interested....

As far as international calls go. Step one would be to remove/modify those contacts #s to prevent that. It would be different if it were dialing random numbers. Also you aren't running anything like Gizmo/Google Voice/Skype/etc. right?

and lastly your name isn't John Connor is it? =p
