Iv just come into possesion of a nokia 770 and was wanting to run some applications (specificaly games) on it, but, after searching round the internet for hours, am no closer to getting anything to work. Im hoping someone who knows what their talking about can give me a hand. And I only have a limited background in computers, so simple terms please.

Yes Iv got wifi working
under install new apps theres a small list of 8 apps, 4 of which are colour themes
As far as I no im running the default operating sysyem. I ran an update wizard from the nokia site and it gave me something. I hightl doubt it was a Hacker Edition tho.
What do I want? Just a bit of help, for someone to explain clearly how to go about installing apps.

Im not sure how to install the hacker edition, but as you probably have OS2006, I really can't help you. See if you have the extras repository installed.

the first link u gave me gives an error message when I try to refresh the apps after iov followed the instructions (Unable to refresh list. Last refreshed list is shown).
The second one doesnt work either. I get an error message if I try to click the link, and if I try to do it manualy theres no "maemo extras" there. Just 2 nokia ones...
As for the 3r thing ill try it l8er. Iv got a whole lota stuff up rite now so i dont wana turn it off.
